After many years of being fascinated by pizza & travelling extensively studying some superb restaurant in Europe, we wanted to do something totally unique to Australia... the big question was always... why is it that pizza tastes so good in Itally? The quest was one to bring that experience here.. Mad pizza started out as "MAD(e) in ITALIA" in 2004 & was the first dedicated "Pizza Al Taglio" (Piza by the Slice Italian Style) outlet in Australia, the mission was to replicate the amazing tastes in Australia, the mission was to replicate the amazing tastes of the pizzas in Italy. With this as our primary objective we packaed & shipped from Rome, 2 shipping containers of 100% Italian produce even including barrels of tap water from Rome just to make sure we had everything covered.
